What is YNPN and how can it benefit Greater Fort Wayne?

From Young Nonprofit Professionals Network’s National Movement page:

Currently, there are 22 YNPN chapters representing nearly 15,000 young nonprofit professionals working in a variety of capacities. This rapid growth and mobilization of next generation leaders sends a clear message that the need for installing a pipeline for early career nonprofit professionals is signficant.

The latter part of the question is up to you.  What would a local chapter offer Northeast Indiana?

Check out the YNPN of Greater Grand Rapids - Highlights from their wiki include:

YNPN was established in 1997, shares a similar mission to our group’s goals and programs and has provided us with information on forming a local chapter.  Does the Greater Fort Wayne area need this group?

Join the conversation on Friday, September 19 at our monthly meeting at the Southeast YMCA.

Our first meeting of the fall will follow up on August’s conversation. We’ll examine generational leadership and the roles we can play in our organization’s success.  Judging by the fervor of last week’s group, we’re in for another lively discussion!

We’ll also follow up on an opportunity to create a local chapter of an national organization that has similar goals. We’ll need your input to make it work best for Northeast Indiana Nonprofits! Bring your lunches and your expertise~
