ThinkTank Mode launches: Help Brainstorm the Rape Awareness Program

Rya Morgan, Rape Awareness Program Director for the FWWB will lead our January 16th meeting in ThinkTank Mode. We’ll get an overview of her existing program and then we’ll brainstorm ways to implement community mobilization.

What does that mean?

You’ll have the chance to get out of your silo.  Maybe you need a break from what you’ve been concentrating on. Maybe, like statistics suggest, you are infinitely curious about your world, want to see how your acquired knowledge fits, how your missions overlap and how you can help.

Next Meeting: January 16th

This month, we’re taking a break to allow for end of the year finishings at each organization. In January, we return to third Fridays and kick off the new year with a new format.

Rya Morgan of the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau will host a meeting of firsts.

For the first meeting in 2009, we will take a swing at another first: the ThinkTank. The last meeting left an impression that we hope to apply. We’ve got skills and we aren’t afraid to use ‘em – when asked.

We’ll join Rya at the Women’s Bureau and apply our collective energy and knowledge to the Rape Awareness Program and Rya will allow us to determine the efficacy of ThinkTank mode. Will it work? Read the rest of this entry »
