Fort Wayne Rotaract Launches for Local Young Rotarians

Thanks to newest NeXtGener, Lauren Caggiano for the Press Release! Here’s another exciting opportunity for NeXtGeners to act locally:

A new service club comprised of young professionals is taking shape in Fort Wayne! Rotaract, a service club affiliated with Rotary International, invites young people ages 18 to 30 to join the cause locally.

Mayor Tom Henry, a former Rotarian himself, recently spoke at the Inaugural Rotaract Club Meeting, on May 6. The mayor formally called to order the first official meeting including newly inducted President Jeremy Redding. Mayor Henry went on to discuss the importance of Rotaract and its implications to the local community and why Rotary is important to him and how it has impacted his life.

Rotaract, one of the fastest growing affiliates of Rotary International, boasts over 7300 Rotaract clubs in over 150 Countries, with an active membership of over 170,000 young professionals. The club is designed for young professionals who want to make their community a better place, expand friendships, build leadership skills, and ultimately make a difference in the world.
